Dear listening ears & reading eyes

My life is a sum of experiences between knowing who I was and finding out who I am.

My journey with Radical Self love and Resilience started as a immigrant and an emotionally turmoiled teenager in a brand new country. Having to adjust between two cultures with very little support system, I suffered from chronic anxiety and panic attacks related to childhood trauma. That debilitating feeling of isolation propelled me to develop tools so I could hack into my mental state. These tools helped me be my own cheer leader and fight for my mental well being. These tools continued to serve me well in my life as I grew up and gave me amazing opportunities to guide others over the years. After doing a ton of inner work and healing from traumatic experiences in my life, I made a commitment to get healthy, take control of my life and wellbeing and set the intention to grow and learn. Having said that— intention is powerful, but doesn’t mean anything if you cant stay focused on your goal. I decided to implement tools like Yoga, Movement, Breathing meditation and Writing to manage my anxiety. The study of Neuroplasticity and the power we hold within our minds to rewire propelled me to get training in all those modalities.

Upon completion of the Meditation + Yoga training, mindfulness took on another meaning for me. It was not just a cure for a nasty hangover or a warm place on a freezing winter day but a medium for transformation. It became a practice that allowed me to tap into my inner voice and live my life from a place of authenticity and truth. I found my voice and a leader inside who wanted to guide others through a tough path in their lives.

In addition to yoga, I have been able to expand my passion for health and wellness even more through holistic health coaching. I am honored to have worked with hundreds of professional, men and women all over the world. My tools have helped them reach their Wellness goals and become the healthiest versions of themselves while staying focused on how they truly want to live their lives. My goal is for everyone to get mentally and physically stronger, feel empowered after they have worked with me and have developed a better relationship with themselves.

My path has definitely not been linear and has required a lot of leaping into the unknown but I truly believe that growth happens when we step outside of our comfort zone. I can’t wait to see what the rest of this crazy journey brings for the short time I am here.

In addition, I am a freelance writer on mental health topics and women’s health. I am a regular contributor at BrownGirlMagazine where we break stereotypes and radio host on Dash radio. I have been featured in Cameron Diaz’s The Body Book, and was named one of Strong Fitness Magazine’s women to watch in December 2019 print issue. In addition, I am on the Advisory Board for StrongFitnessMag as a mind +body expert. I am passionate about helping my clients thrive daily by building their strength mentally and physically. With over ten years of mentoring experience, my courses and teachings are evidence based, with proven results. My mission is to help you regain your confidence and motivate you to live a life of radical self awareness and self acceptance.
